Art Competition!

Exhibited entries will be judged by public vote during the two week period in which the exhibition is held.

Competition winners from each age category (u16 and 16+) will have their submitted work exhibited in either the Oxfam Clothes or Books and Music Shops in Nottingham City Centre for one extra month.

Winners will also receive a voucher to spend in Nottingham City Oxfam shops, and a certificate. In addition to this, the winners’ work may also be featured in future Oxfam publications.

The amount of funding will be used toward Oxfam’s programme, more precisely for supporting Haïti emergency appeal

- £10 will buy a hygiene kit for one family

- £25 will buy ten 14 litre buckets

- £ 50 will buy two basic latrines to serve 40 people

Hey Oxfam Nottingham followers!

This week at the clothes shop we are launching our latest themed collection, and the new theme is: 'Mod' - so lots of parkas, polo shirts and general cool retro stuff! So get yourself down to the Hockley shop for a cool new look!!

Meanwhile, at the book shop on Market Street we have a wonderful selection of nearly-new coffee-table-style travel books - perfect as Christmas presents or a treat for yourself...

And, if you're one of the lucky people who got one of our loyalty cards in our recent promotion don't forget to bring them with you when you visit either of our stores, to start building up your stamps - you only need 3 stamps to get £3 off (when you spend £10). If you missed out on getting a loyalty card first time round, don't worry, we will be giving out more soon.
